Rules are made for a reason but that doesn’t mean that they can’t be bent – the right way of course! Here at g, we don’t want your summerlike attire to get in the way of your education. Here are the must-haves that you should bring next time you enter dress code implemented areas.
Sweater
When your sleeveless tops are less than three fingers wide and your necklines might be considered plunging, cover up with a lightweight sweater. It’s not only easy to bring around but you can easily take it back off again when it gets too hot outside.
In an open campus with almost no air-conditioned rooms, a pair of jeans is the last thing you would want to wear in school and many students tend to parade around with shorts and miniskirts. If your bottoms don’t meet the below-the-knee requirement, slip on a pair of tights. Not only will you be granted access, but you’ll be making a fashion statement as well.
For girls, dresses are the easiest way to dress light for the dress code. As long as the hemlines aren’t too short, they give the wearer the same breezy feeling of shorts and miniskirts while still passing the dress code.
Long Shorts
These days long shorts have become unisex – meaning both boys and girls can wear them. It exposes just the right amount of skin while at the same covering just enough so you won’t cause a distraction with your legs.
