Take your Time: For some students, due to the never-ending things we have to do in college, every meal is taken in an almost competition-like pace. This is something that can actually make you want to eat more. When you don’t take your time and enjoy what you’re having, sometimes you don’t feel like you’ve had enough, though you already have. Also, never skip meals!
4. Always Active at the Ateneo
Begin to Gym: A surefire way to lose weight is to exercise. We Ateneans are lucky because we have the awesome Moro Lorenzo Sports Complex on campus, and it’s the perfect place to attempt to get fit. You can run around the track oval, lift weights at the gym or play a game or two of badminton. Not that athletic? Moro has classes in yoga and dance that’ll help keep you slim and happy too.
Swimming to Keep Sexy: Another convenient way to get fit is to, as Dory from Finding Nemo suggests, keep swimming, swimming, swimming. The splash pool by the covered courts is open to all students and is a fun and refreshing way to get fit. Diving into the pool may even seem like a reward after a long, hot and sweaty day walking around campus!
Being inactive is the number one cause of weight gain. In a wonderful walking campus like ours, it’s close to impossible to not get even a few minutes of exercise and movement everyday!
