Vannah Pacis
Vannah Pacis is a head-turner.
It must be that head bursting with golden brown curls that makes eyes linger longer than they should, or that cute dimpled smile that demands a second look.
Perhaps it’s her uncanny resemblance to a certain starlet of high school and musical fame that makes a subtle stare at Vannah almost compulsory. Or maybe it’s because she’s already started creating her own fame as a permanent fixture in the Ateneo stage, as one of the Tanghalang Ateneo’s actresses.
“Acting— that’s pretty much my extra-curricular activity,” she says gleefully.
In spite of Vannah’s experience with performing, it was actually a stroke of luck that got her this gig to perform on one of the biggest platforms the Ateneo has to offer: the OrSem stage. “It was my friend who wanted to be an OrSem host. I was just pulled along to sign-up too,” she shares. The news of getting through both the first and second auditions left Vannah initially speechless. “It’s going to be the first time I’m hosting, and already, it’s OrSem,” she gushes with nervousness and enthusiasm.
Asked what kind of personality she is set to portray while hosting, Vannah says none of her acting prowess will have to shine through. “I’ll just be myself, because that’s the reason why I got in.” Nevertheless, let’s still brace ourselves for a show. Vannah will be turning heads, every step of the way.
